Thanks so much everyone for that pointer!  No idea why I did not find
it in the handbook.

Building a kernel on the usb stick now just to stress test things.
Will fix loader.conf and reboot when done.  It should be interesting to
see how long a kernel build takes.  While the BeagleBone is much
faster than the Sun 3 I built my first kernel on it is taking much
more time.  Maybe usbflash drive write speeds are holding me back.
