FreeBSD on a DockStar - doesn't mount root

You did not mention (or I overlooked it) which version your kernel is built 
from, I am using for both ARM and MIPS devices only 9-CURRENT. In your worklog 
page it looks like your kernel is 8-SOMETHING based. If that's the case, could 
you eventually try current?
