FreeBSD Mall, Inc. is happy to announce the availability of FreeBSD
4.11 CD products.  The four CD set is shipping this week to
subscribers around the world.

We are proud of our long relationship with the FreeBSD Developer
Community.  In 2004, sales at FreeBSD Mall, Inc. were returned to the
FreeBSD Community in the following ways :

  * $5,000 donated to the FreeBSD Foundation (a small portion
    of the overall contribution to the project)

  * Employed documentation authors to work on a new edition of the
    FreeBSD Handbook.

  * Part-time employment contracts to allow FreeBSD committers to
    improve the FreeBSD Handbook, packages, and support release
    engineering activities.

  * Donated thousands of free CDs, and the postage required to mail
    them to developers around the world.

  * Paid marketing staff to increase mindshare and market FreeBSD CDs
    and Books to stores such as CompUSA, Borders Books, Fry's, and
    other retail outlets in the U.S., Japan, and Europe.

  * Developed and printed FreeBSD flyers in multiple languages, and
    used them to distribute at LinuxExpo and other advocacy events.

  * Sponsored user group meetings around the world.

In addition to CD and DVD products, we also have a large collection of
FreeBSD shirts, hats, jackets, boxer shorts, stickers, case-plates,
coffee mugs, mouse pads, and other promotional materials.
