CTM generation for FreeBSD-3

Hello all

I have not been the greatest CTM administrator; at times I have
been a little slow to respond to problems, and I have not been very
visible. I hope to redress these wrongs in the future.

If you have CTM problems, mail to ctm at freebsd.org will get to me.

Some good news. I am now generating CTM diffs for RELENG_3 (also
known as FreeBSD STABLE or FreeBSD 3.x). If you wish to receive
these, please set up an appropriate alias in accordance with ctm(1)
and the handbook; then subscribe that alias to the appropriate
mailing list with a message to majordomo at freebsd.org. DO NOT SEND
MAJORDOMO REQUESTS TO ANY OF THE LISTS OR TO ME; SEND THEM TO
MAJORDOMO ONLY!

There are two new lists; ctm-src-3 and ctm-src-3-fast. The -fast
list will send the diffs (broken up into chunks) in one go; this
may swamp your connection if you are a dialup user. Dialup users
are encouraged to use ctm-src-3; this will stage large deltas over
a reasonable period of time to avoid inadvertantly mailbombing you
and your service provider.

You will need to get the deltas that have been generated up till now;
they are available at
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/CTM/<collection>

If you wish to have cryptographic sources, you are requested to
ask me directly to add you to the appropriate list. The international
Crypto Repository does not yet generate CTM deltas for STABLE, but
this will be corrected soon.
