question about installing msi netbook from usb

So, why don't you use something like
ftp://ftp.tw.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/8.0/8.0-RELEASE-amd64-memstick.img
which already _is_ a USB stick image?
