Have the client install the java/linux-sun-jdk14 port on
FreeBSD/amd64, this should allow them to use your XPay client.

This would then give you time to fix the XPay client so that it would
work with Java 1.5, or a developer adds support for FreeBSD/amd64 to
java/jdk14.
