FreeBSD starbug.netinertia.co.uk 6.0-BETA4 FreeBSD 6.0-BETA4 #0: Tue Sep 6 22:33:12 BST 2005 root at starbug.netinertia.co.uk:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/STARBUG amd64
>Description:
When using a serial console on the amd64 version of 6.0-BETA, when executing a `shutdown -r now`, the text that should say "Rebooting..." appears garbled on the serial console. This does not happen on the i386 version of 6.0-BETA4
>How-To-Repeat:
Install 6.0-BETA (any), amd64, enable serial console by running `echo -Dh > /boot.config` and reboot. When serial console has been verified as working, run a reboot or shutdown command and observe the serial console.
