cvsup not fore amd64!!!!!

of course but it will give us an i386 static binary and not a native
amd64 dynamically linked one. That's what I had thought of.. s.th.

someone (you?) had a ezm3 and cvsup prepared for that and it works
like a charm from what I can tell using above cvsup and running cvsupd
and with my patch even compression works fine.
