nforce3 nic driver

Hello,
I tried running the driver from ports on both platforms i386 and amd64, 
but it does not work on both.
Under i386 when the module is loaded the kernel recognizes it as agp0 
which is completely insane and under amd64 it doesn`t detect the nic at 
all. I`ve heard that David O`Brien has written a driver from scratch but 
hasn`t commited it yet. So please if you have any ideas on how to build 
this driver please help, and if you have David`s driver please post a link.
