Soapbox: I thought it was kind of chickens__t that it was removed from
ports. Perhaps it is back in there.

Note that this is for 32 bit only. Haven't gotten around to testing it
on my AMD +3800 machine. So YMMV.

1. Go to www.xmms.org (or com?) and download tar'd gzip'd file
2. Ungzip it with tar -xzf xmms.tar.gz or xmms.tgz
2.5 Change to xmms directory
3. Su to root (not absolutely neccessary)
4. Type ./configure
5. Type make
6. Type make install (have to be root here, or better su to root)

You're done! Access it with XFree86 with xmms command in a window.
Mime type to add to browser is audio/x-scpl, program is xmms %s.. Now
you can go to www.shoutcast.com or some other streaming audio site and
listen to radio stations. www.kfjc.org is my personal favorite. Been
listening for 20 years, first on FM, then when I moved via net. Onother
good one is www.radiofg.com in Paris, techno, R&B, pop. Xmms pops up
audomagically then.

Rob.
