Probably because I only ever had my hands on the older Mylex-based KZP*
controllers ;)

Yes, asr(4) is not in the default Alpha kernels.

Well, I guess you are the first one to try this hardware. I do
have DS20[E] available in the lab at work, but not this RAID card.
Would be interesting to know if it works or not, then we can go and
add it into the default GENERIC for FreeBSD/alpha install cds.
