Firstly, can you upgrade to 7-STABLE, I think this has laready been fixed. 
If you can't upgrade to -STABLE for some reason, try removing the line
ehci_pci_givecontroller(self);
from around line 200 of /usr/src/sys/dev/usb/ehci_pci.c
and see if that fixes your problem?
