Hi,
the poweroff sequence doesn't power off in my Gericom
Webgine.
I can't find any hint of failure after the boot -v
messages and the shutdown sequence does just fine but
- after sending the poweroff - waits some seconds and
says that i should turn it off manually or reboot with
a keystroke.
I use a "fixed" DSDT.aml, follows the diff with the
original. I can't host the asl for a link, but I'll be
pleased to send it.
< OperationRegion (M4D0, SystemMemory, 0x04D0,

the acpidumped asl contains a text ("WN2K", "WNSE",
"WNME", " ") and I already tried in vain setting
hw.acpi.osname="WN2K".
this is my system:
~> uname -a
FreeBSD xinia.lilith 6.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE
#1: Wed May 10 09:54:54 CEST 2006
root at xinia.lilith:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/XINIA i386
here follows my sysctl:
# sysctl hw.acpi

hw.acpi.battery.state: 0
hw.acpi.battery.units: 1

hw.acpi.acline: 1
the rest of acpi works perfectly, I would really like
to be helped in fixing the problem.
Can anybody help me? Thanks!
