Unfortunately that's the case, I'm not sure why.  I'm taking to ripping
the audio and playing it using the pcm device instead as I can't hear it
natively, dock or no dock.

I'll take a look when I'm next docked to see what appears there.  When
docked I get no sound at all.  It would be good to get that working.
