Coleman,

You either don't understand what I have written or trying to play trick 
with my words. I am not talking about adding new options for new 
functionality, which is good and fine, but rather about massive addition 
of long options as a synonyms to existing short ones, which we have seen 
in this case. That's why  I largely see this change as a superfluous and 
potentially harmful.
