This cause has been documented in nsswitch.conf(5) for more than half a year.
That time it was thought that might be the best place.

Do we really need this? It's documented in make.conf.5 now and there
might be source changes in the future so that changes might not be
needed at all. Adding a comment to yet another file means to update
yet another file in case anything changes and this is easily
forgotten.  I'm not saying I won't do it if forced to..;)
