Just for the record, as I told Gerald earlier, this port is still
under active development in CVS, although the maintainer hasn't
released a tarball for a while, and some other packaging systems (e.g.
 Debian) use recent snapshots, that don't require gcc 3.4. So if users
need this port, it can be revived.
