Actually, bf isn't on the hook, that was caused by me going for a
(per se) more conservative subset of his patch.

Anything still broken after my fix (which I hope not to be the case
based on my extra testing), please revert my two commits to bsd.gcc.mk
or fix as you see fit since I'll have to be offline soon.
