Thanks for fixing this and sorry for my ignorance.

Specifically this commit was accidentally pulled in from upstream:

It is totally wrong for 64-bit, of course.  It was properly fixed 
later but I missed it:

I really prefer this patch rather than just casting it away although 
it makes no difference for us because socklen_t is luckily 32-bit for 
FreeBSD.
