It is in progress.  We already have an on-going discussion with Alexey,
but I have not had time to merge his recommendations, while I felt
important to update the ports until we reach a final consensus.

I promised Alexey to CC you in my answer, which shall be written soon
:)  The basic idea is still to go with split ports.
