That's what the MOVED file is supposed to do. In a way, it does work.
The best thing to do in _this_ situation is do portupgrade gnome2, then
pkgdb -F and remove metacity-setup. You'll note when you run the pkgdb
command, it will print the metacity-setup remove message from the MOVED
file.

It's not as pretty as perhaps it could be, but with a little work,
you're back to normal.
