It still needs to happen between repos, but if we can do it regularly 
with a script that could be a good solution as these pieces of data 
don't change too often.

Sounds good. I'm happy to see that we are trying to improve our doc 
infrastructure, not just the content. My first step in the proposed XML 
change is also progressing well. I hope I will be able to post a patch 
for review in 1-2 weeks.
