Yes :), it has nothing to do with the plists but with make arguments.
These ports are complex and some error messages are often misleading.

We (doceng@) are leaving a 2 months long talk with various teams and
persons to select the right categories for these ports.  For the moment
we use "misc" and the new virtual "docs" category, this may be changed
in future.
