Skipping a number (going from 1 to 3) doesn't hurt anything. Going 
backwards (from 3 to 2) is bad for a lot of reasons, not the least of 
which is automated tools that depend on monotonically increasing version 
numbers.

If the time between the two commits is small enough this probably won't 
hurt anything, but please remember this for next time.
