appropriate posting

i am not sure this is the correct mailing list i should be on.
i am on this one and stable.  i was trying to do a cvsup/buildwerld
and this is the first time i am attempting this. i am getting help
from experts-exchange.com and am getting some help.

please advise.  i am also trying to get google earth, gnome,
amoung other things to werk.. i know there are other mailing
lists i see i am going to attempt that.

i am running the xfce4 x window system.
