I don't know. I only observed that the environment was reset and I
had to fix the console and boot settings again.

Do you typically use shutdown -h? There's a use of OF_exit() in  
cpu_halt()
still. I only changed the cpu_reset() case, which is called from DDB  
when
you enter reset for example.
