I've been thinking about. In general I like it, because you can put
as much of either GNOME or KDE on the ISO. This makes it easy for
people to go beyond the default GNOME or KDE installation without
having to change discs. It's also easy for people to figure out if
they need to download the ISO to get what they want.
However, I think the approach will trigger a whole chain of changes
and therefore not really suitable for 5.4-RELEASE. For example, it
may be better to put X.org on both the GNOME and KDE ISOs and use
the additional space on disc1 for things like sudo or python or ...

I need to experiment with it, I guess.
