Do you have the linuxulator enabled?  It probably doesn't install
without it, but if you don't have it, there would be no point in
installing it anyway.

I committed an addition that fails the installation with a meaningful
message if Linux ABI compatibility is unavailable.  Not that this
would really change anything in the final result (you won't get it
installed, one way or another), but it gives a better message about
it.
