I think, it's harmless.

What's version of intltool do you have it installed? intltool depends on  
textproc/p5-XML-Parser, so it sounds like you don't have apps up to date.  
Run portupgrade -ra or whatever to update all your apps. If you are lazy,  
then try to just upgrade intltool alone. See here...
