There is no reason to get rid of older versions as long as they build
fine (or can reasonalble be made to do so).  GCC has a long history of
not putting as much concern for backwards compatability.  There is huge
amounts of code that still cannot be built with GCC 3.3.  Same for other
versions of GCC.  Please don't just go removing the ports.  Make the
maintainer ports at freebsd.org and leave it at that.
