Out of curiosity, did you mange to crack the driver issue for the Nikon LS-3510Af scanner? Have one myself, tried to connect into W98 PC box but the SCSI / 2940 card either has some incompatibility issues or my setup sequence installing the drivers etc is wrong. I never managed to get mine working despite many abortive attempts. It's a great shame that Nikon denied these old scanners (with great specs) a pathway to more recent OS platforms.
