linux (debian), 2.6.7-2, hang.

  The system gets hang from time to time. I believe this is an aic7xxx
related issue because when ever this happens the SCSI led activity
remains on. Other then that I don't have more information because the
logs shows nothing. Do give me instructions on how to get more
information.
  The system runs kde and whenever I reboot kde display the last screen
shot that were displayed when the hang occurred and then runs kdm.
