Ready To Pay If Someone Can Get This Cheetah 15K Working on Adaptec 29160

ISSUE PARTIALLY RESOLVED: BAD ADAPTEC CABLE

To my luck, Gigabyte 8A-KNXP Ultra arrived which
includes Ultra320 cable.

Both Ultra320 Cheetahs work now with 29160 when using
the Ultra320 cable from Gigabyte board (BIOS scan
posts 160 mbps for ID0 and ID1).

However, Ultra160 Cheetah does still not work in any
mode except SE even with the new cable. I will assume
this drive is faulty as well.

Is this luck or what? What are the chances of getting
*partially-broken* Ultra160 cable and Ultra160 hard
drive?

Thanks for Justin Gibbs for properly diagnosing the
problem. He deservedly gets the reward.

J.
