Problems with new aic7xxx driver

Hello, I'm using an AHA-2930 PCI SCSI controller and
the aic7xxx driver used to work great. However, in
the newer linux kernels where the newer driver is
used, my scsi card isn't being properly reset (or
something). What happens is if I'm using the new
driver and I do a soft reboot, when my SCSI bios
comes up, I get the message "Timeout during SCSI
inquiry command!" and none of my devices are detected.
If I turn off my machine for a couple seconds and
turn it back on, it works fine.

Currently, I'm using the old aic7xxx driver with
the newer kernels.

If there is anymore information I can provide to
you to help you with troubleshooting this problem,
please do not hesitate to say so. :)
