AHA2842 controller doesn't work anymore?

FWIW, I'm using AHA-2842 with NetBSD-current.
Since NetBSD driver is based on the recent FreeBSD version by Justin
Gibbs, I think FreeBSD is OK, too.

So, *BSD driver is safe as reference for Linux port.
