problemes with linux kernel 2.0.3x

Hi!

I updated my system-kernel from 2.0.30 (which was working correct for
long time) to 2.0.33 because teardrop.
Since I have some trouble with instable system when doing
raw-scsi-access. In some time the system will stop without doing some
entry in any logfile if I use scsi depending software (like cdda2wav or
so kind).

My system is a P100 with 56MB ram, a 2940 (PCI) and a S3-PCI
graphicdevice.
I use Debian linux "bo".

Please send answere to k.ethgen at gmx.de because my english is'nt so good
