OK, never mind.  Removing the video card fixed the problem -- on that
one machine for at least a while.  The next system I tried now laughs
when I try to bring IT up with no AccelStar 2 in it.  In the meantime,
another system that did boot with scsi just fine stopped booting.

Guess it is time to try disabling mmap-ing and then on to the
sequencer...
