Hello Jess Johnson,
Can you help? I'm having problems with my Linux system that is locking
 up.

I saw your name referencing FAQ. Can you give me the correct direction
 to the answer?

The problem: My Linux (version 2.0.31) server, running on a 233MHz
Pentium-Pro, S1668 Titan Pro ATX mother board, with an
AHA-2940Ultra-Wide SCSI controller, and and a SEAGATE Model ST34371W
4.1G disk... locks up when there is lots of disk I/O ... i.e.: when I
try to compile a custom Linux kernel.
