I've been unable to get a working version of kernel 2.1.131. 2.1.130 worked
fine. After trying gcc 2.7.2.3, egcs 1.1b, and egcs 1.1.1, I've gotten kernels
that fail in various ways--but they all die. After four attempts to boot, I've
seen: one hang after "scsi: 1 host", one infinite abort/reset loop, and two
kernel panics. Didn't get the info from the first one, but the latest is:

scsi: 1 host.
Kernel panic: aic7xxx: AWAITING_MSG for an SCB that does not have a waiting
message.
In swapper task - not syncing

Any ideas? As I mentioned before, 2.1.130 ran with no problems at all. Output
from /proc/scsi/scsi:

Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: Quantum Model: XP34300W Rev: L915

Vendor: CONNER Model: CTT8000-S Rev: 1.22

The system is a generic PPro 200 with 80MB RAM.
