[OFFTOPIC] what is forced perfect termination (was: Re: AHA2790UW has speed-limit problems ?)

This makes me curious. Is this another "concept" of termination or a certain
product? Do you have pointers to more information? Is this described in
SCSI-specs? Is there a better place to ask?
