scsi card recommendation

Adaptec 7902 (I have an onboard one) works quite fine with asr(4) zero-channel raid card.
It's a quite cheap solution but it performs stable and fast.
Unfortunately asrutils aren't functional at least in 5.x (the specification/sources are available though, see archives).
