todays current problem with ata

hi

I have just booted my freshly compiled -current (cvsuped 10-11 CET)
and I am getting this message:
ad0: TIMEOUT - SETFEATURES SET TRASNFER MODE (0 retries left)
it repeats forever (at least as my patience allowed me to wait)

I have SIS chipset and there is ata disk and atapi cdrom connected to
the machine

5.2R doesnt have this problem (it boots correctly)

able to provide any further info
